Keto and Resistance Training Result in 175lbs Weight Loss – in Just 13 Months

“I keep thinking I’m going to wake up and still weigh over 400lbs,” says u/3995346 (known as Ethan in real life) in a comment on one of his recent Reddit posts.

And it’s certainly been an incredible journey for Ethan, who lost 175 pounds in just 13 months.

All it took was making the right change in his diet by switching to keto and intermittent fasting to kick start shedding those extra pounds:

“I do one meal a day and aim for 1650 to 1850 calories, 20 net carbs and 180 to 200 grams protein and the rest fats,” he reveals.

By adding a short workout session every morning, 6 days a week, Ethan was able to turbo-boost the life changing transformation:

“All you need is 10 minutes of high resistance bands every single morning… except Sundays. Take Sunday and allow yourself to rest, reward yourself for your focus and determination. After all, you’ve taken the first step.”

Ethan says he hasn’t reached his goal weight yet and plans on losing another 25 pounds.

He then wants to regain 30 pounds in muscle mass by reversing his diet and doubling his weights-training before switching back to keto to lose the 30 pounds in fat.

“My asthma is reduced, I am no longer pre-diabetic, and I’ve reversed [the effects of] fatty liver disease… This diet has changed my life.”
